From responding to the climate crisis, reconsidering relations with non-human beings, and contributing to more inclusive and just societies; design can play a fundamental role. Through international collaboration, knowledge development and exchange, design contributions addressing these global challenges can be strengthened and made more visible. Yet the opportunities for advancing international design practices and solutions are not always known. Het Nieuwe Instituut’s international clinics, organized in collaboration with DutchCulture, the Creative Industries Fund NL and the Dutch diplomatic network, provide a space for Netherlands-based designers and creatives to learn about opportunities for international collaboration and exchange whilst hearing from practitioners in the field. 

Programme

Join our clinic to gain a deeper understanding of the funding landscape for Europe and to network with funders, designers and embassies in Germany, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom through conversations, presentations and breakout sessions. This event will be followed by a network drink and coincides with the adjacent Thursday Night Live! programme at Het Nieuwe Instituut.
